Learning to Crawl and meeting a new friend!

We have recently been working on crawling....although Owen has yet to actually do it he has the form down pretty well. We also got the chance to go visit some friends of ours. They were blessed with their second child this passed week! Congratulations Chris, April, and Laney!

Grandpa had surgery a few weeks ago and has to be off of work for awhile so we thought we would put a smile on his face and send him a "get well" message :-)

Happy Halloween

Every year our group of friends have an annual Halloween party. This year was yet another great year. It is always so exciting to go and find out what everyone is......we all remain hush hush about our costumes until the night of. Jon and I went as Dog and Beth from the TV show The Bounty Hunter. If your wondering who they are, it is this really classy show (not so much) that you can catch on A & E. Check out the other costumes below!

The Monster Mash

So we have not been up to much lately. Actually, our house has been a bit under the weather. So, being that we have spent so much time at home I decided to get creative. Well, I cannot say I got creative I actually took the idea from another friend's blog (thanks April and Chris :-) I created this video. More of what we have been up to.....

Last week Jon had a conference in Chicago. So since two of my very close friends live in Chicago and they both have just recently had babies, I thought this would be a perfect time for a mini trip overnight for Owen to come visit. Overall, the trip went very well. I will have to say it was interesting traveling with an infant by yourself. It took me a good 3 1/2 hours to get to Chicago and no it was not because of traffic, I had a little bit of a crabby baby on my hands. We had a great time visiting and Owen enjoyed visiting with his friends James (pictured above) and David. Sorry there are no pics with David.....he is just 4 weeks old and as you can see from the pictures above, Owen may have eaten him!

6 MONTH PICTURES..........

Well it had been that time again for pictures....Owen was 6 months about a month and a half ago and I decided I needed some pictures. Since our normal photographer had just had a baby (www.photosbykaity.com) I decided to try some pictures on my own, I think it was a pretty good attempt and I think they turned out pretty good. Here are just a few of my favorites!

Post Family Farm

Today Owen and I met some of my girlfriends and their kids for a playdate at Post Family Farm. The weather cooperated with us and we stayed dry the whole time. We had a great time seeing all the animals, watching all the other kids ride on the pumpkin train, we went on a hayride and picked out a pumpkin and then got to enjoy some donuts and cider!
