A Few New things!

Owen is now 9 months...I cannot believe it! He has achieved many new things! He loves to stand by himself and play with is Leap Frog table that his Aunt Jill let him borrow. He has graduated from taking his baths in the kitchen sink to the BIG bath tub. He was a bit unsure in the begining but now he loves his baths and loves to splash around. He has also learned how to pull himself up in his crib. I found him standing up in his crib the other morning after his nap.....he thinks he is pretty cool......mommy does not :-)

Owen's First Thanksgiving!

This year we spent Thanksgiving at my parent's house in Kalamazoo. Owen really enjoyed his first Thanksgiving, he loved spending time with his Meme and Papa, playing with all of his cousins and he even got to enjoy some Turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing!

Owen is Crawling!

I finally caught a video of Owen crawling! You will have to excuse the quality of this video...it was recorded on my phone....and ignore me in the background!

I know this picture looks scary but......Jon decided to go hunting on Thanksgiving morning with our brother in law, he snapped this picture while he was sitting in the tree stand. My parents live on 10 acres of land so it is a great area to hunt. My brother in law got a deer the day before, so we thought maybe there was a chance. Being that Jon is from the UP you would think he would be a hunter......not so much. :-) We had high hopes for Jon but all he saw was a squirrel and 2 blue jays.....maybe next Thanksgiving Jon.

Happy Halloween!

Owen got to celebrate his first Halloween. We spent Halloween at my sister's house with the rest of my family. It was one wild household......Owen went as a duck and went trick or treating with all of his girls cousins (yes, he is the only boy amongst 5 other girls.) We had a wonderful time and even got the chance to stop by and see his friend Caleb!
